From the Berkley Administrator
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Berkley Academy and introduce the Berkley culture to you. Berkley schools are committed to providing a rigorous curriculum that reach beyond the traditional boundaries of teaching and learning. In addition to providing authentic instruction and assessment in all subjects, Berkley Magnet program offers exceptional opportunities for students to participate in rigorous inquiry-based and in-depth, process-oriented science studies that will equip them for success in all spheres of life.
Berkley Science Magnet School strives to admit students who will be successful within the framework of the Berkley Inquiry Curriculum, a blend of the culturally relevant Nigerian standards and international primary standards. We expect all our students to excel in secondary schools, universities, and the global professional setting. We actively admit students from culturally and socio-economically diverse families, so that we reflect the diversity of the world today.

Admission Process
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
Please bring the following documents along with the completed application form:

Previous exam results

Transfer certificate

Medical report

Two passport photographs

Birth certificate
ADMISSION PROCESS:

Attend an Open House or schedule a personal tour. Out of state residents may be exempted from this requirement.

Submit a copy of your child’s most recent report card.

Have your child undergo an admission evaluation. The admission office will contact you with a date and time of the evaluation once your application file is complete and all documentation has been received.

Attend an interview with the Head of School and/or the Associate Head of School. The admission office will contact you to schedule this date and time.
